2. Scope of Application

These Terms & Conditions apply to all orders placed via the Kupper Cameras online shop.

By placing an order, the customer agrees to these Terms & Conditions.

Age Requirement

Orders may only be placed by persons who are at least 18 years of age.

By placing an order, the customer confirms that they are of legal age and legally capable of entering into binding contracts.

Our cameras are handcrafted in limited production (approximately 3 units per month).


3. Product Characteristics & Exclusivity

  • Each camera is handcrafted and may exhibit minor variations in surface finish or details.

  • Technical modifications serving functional or quality improvements remain reserved.

  • Custom-made modifications or special requests are final; returns are accepted only in cases of proven defects.

  • Our products are premium tools designed for demanding photographers who value tactile quality, precision, and aesthetics.


4. Prices & Payment

  • All prices are stated in CHF and include Swiss VAT where applicable.

  • Shipping costs and any customs duties or import charges are borne by the customer.

  • Payment methods: advance payment (bank transfer), PayPal, and additional methods indicated in the shop.

  • Production and shipment commence only after full payment has been received.


5. Delivery Time & Production Policy

  • Delivery times are defined and confirmed individually for each order.

  • Upon order confirmation, the customer reserves a production slot.

  • Changes to delivery schedules will be communicated promptly.

  • For custom-made products, no right of withdrawal applies, except in cases of proven defects.

  • Force Majeure: Delivery delays caused by natural events, material shortages, strikes, or similar unforeseen circumstances shall not entitle the customer to cancel the order.


6. Shipping & Transfer of Risk

  • Shipping is carried out worldwide to the address provided by the customer.

  • Risk and benefit transfer to the customer upon handover to the shipping carrier.

  • The customer is responsible for any customs duties, taxes, or local charges.

  • For U.S. customers: customs duties and any applicable Use Tax are borne by the buyer.


7. Retention of Title

Goods remain the property of Kupper Cameras until full payment has been received.


8. Statutory Warranty

Statutory warranty rights under the Swiss Code of Obligations remain unaffected.

Any defects must be reported in writing within 7 days of receipt.

The provider reserves the right to determine the appropriate remedy, including repair, replacement, or refund.


9. Commercial Warranty – 2 Years

  • Valid from the date of delivery.

  • Covers material and manufacturing defects as well as mechanical malfunctions under proper use.

  • Excluded: normal wear and tear, improper use, modifications, drops, moisture damage, or external impact.

  • In case of warranty claim: repair, replacement, or correction at the provider's discretion.

  • After expiry of the warranty period, spare parts and repairs may be offered at additional cost.


10. Liability

  • Liability is limited to intent and gross negligence.

  • No liability is assumed for indirect damages, loss of profit, or damages resulting from improper use.

  • Customers are responsible for using the camera in accordance with its intended purpose.


11. Data Protection & Cookies

Personal data is processed in accordance with the Swiss revDSG and, where applicable, the GDPR.

Collected data may include:

  • Name

  • Address

  • Email address

  • Telephone number

  • Payment information

  • Order data

  • IP address

Purpose of processing:

  • Contract performance

  • Delivery

  • Customer communication

  • Accounting

  • Website security

Tracking & Newsletter:

  • Google Analytics (IP anonymized where applicable)

  • Newsletter subscription via double opt-in, unsubscribe at any time

Website hosting is provided by Webnode, and data processing is subject to their privacy policy.


12. Right of Withdrawal

Swiss law does not provide a statutory right of withdrawal for online purchases.

Returns are accepted exclusively in cases of proven defects in accordance with the warranty provisions.


13. International Sales

Customers outside Switzerland are responsible for customs duties, import taxes, and local charges.

Personal data may be processed internationally; appropriate safeguards are implemented in accordance with applicable data protection laws.


14. Final Provisions

Amendments to these Terms & Conditions, warranty, or production policies will be published on the website.
